My husband and I find these funny, not our kids. They're not old enough to get them. It was a great present that my husband opened and started reading a few right away. Stopped after having to explain "what was funny about it." For example, "a lot of these yogurt brands are simply Greek to me" or "Q: why did the FBI agent spray his room with Raid? A: he thought it might be bugged." It is full of puns. I enjoy the book.
My husband claims to be the king of 'dad jokes'. He literally has been practicing his corny dad jokes since we found out I was pregnant with our first, so I knew I had to get him this book when I saw it on Amazon. Anyways, this book does have some good jokes in there, but some are not funny at all haha. Can't beat the price, and I know he really enjoys it. I used it as a stocking stuffer for him! I only give it 4 stars because some of the jokes are just weird and not funny but overall its good!!
Got this for a white elephant gift exchange for Christmas and it didn't disappoint. Equally visible repulsion and rejoicing. Perfect for stimulating steals. You can also open it up and read one during the party to simultaneously tease and entertain, depending on individual preferences.It has a great mix of short one-liner puns and longer narrative twists.
Very misleading title. "The world's greatest collection of dad jokes"? ...Right... Just about every other joke book I've seen is better than this one. It's short, the jokes are really boring and stupid. They're not bad in a good way. They're not bad in a corny way. They're just bad period. Don't be fooled by the title. Just about every joke book, dad joke book, "bad joke" book, joke of puns... ANY thing else is probably better than this. It also seems like it was cheaply made and self published for a quick buck. Not recommended.
Not funny at all..not even in a dad way...just bad. Amazon wouldn't even take it back..thinking about sending it around the family as a gag gift but literally no jokes are even the slightest bit funny. No punch line. Nothing.
My dad enjoyed this book overall. I just wish there were more straight forward, punny, dad style jokes instead of paragraph and religious stuff. See photos! But it was overall a good price and good book.
Such a great fathers day gift, he loved it and is now his favorite bathroom reader!!
I expected jokes that I could tell my grandkids. There are none of those in here that they'd understand, just a bunch of very stupid jokes.
